What do we need from you?
After completing your referral request, please schedule an appointment with your client. For abdominal ultrasound we will need space for properly positioning your patient, bringing in our equipment and performing the study. Unless notified otherwise, Dr. Fuentes will travel to you with her own nurse or assistant. However, sometimes we need extra help from your nurses. We do not provide or charge for sedation, medications, lab work, etc. These services and ability to charge for them are reserved for your clinic.
Ideally patients would receive mild sedation for abdominal ultrasound. Ideally a low dose of a sedative (normally butorphanol) or having client provide a medication to relieve anxiety (normally gabapentin) prior to appointment are recommended. This allows us to perform the best study in the most efficient amount of time.
What services does Dr. Fuentes provide at this time?

We are also able so submit your cytology samples to a board-certified veterinary pathologist. What is the Turnaround for results?

What if further diagnostics or care are required?
Dr. Fuentes will discuss results and treatment recommendations with you. If further work up is required Dr. Fuentes will help you make a comprehensive plan. You will be provided with her personal email and phone number.

What equipment do we have?
At this time, we have a top-of-the-line mobile ultrasound. This allows Dr. Fuentes to perform high quality ultrasounds and ultrasound guided needle sampling during her studies. Our hope is to continue adding equipment and next step diagnostics as our company grows (endoscopy, echocardiogram etic).
Talk to us about your equipment to see if we can expand or services at your clinic!
